Another of my favorite episodes. It was inspired by the photographer Weegee, who was famous for making it to crime scenes ahead of the police (his actual supernatural power: owning a police radio) and became renowned in the art world for his non-crime photography. Weegee is great, Scully possibly cheating death (an idea that first came up back in “Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose,” True Believers!) is great, everything going on here is A+ material.
