In German, ‘My Struggle’ translates to ‘Mein Kampf’. The title of the episode was Chris Carter’s tip of the hat to Karl Ove Knausgård’s series of autobiographical novels of the same name. Knausgård clearly intended the connection to Hitler’s book, but it’s not clear exactly what is meant by the connection.
