I … think at this point I’d mostly given up? Either I’d stopped watching it, or I was just there for the monsters and was letting the conspiracy wash over me without engaging. Either way, I have no memory of any of this stuff.

As noted last comic, a friend and I went through and watched most of the episodes that Krycek is in recently, and toward the end he mostly shows up very briefly in extremely self-serious mythology-related episodes. The comment that was made multiple times in this period was, “So, Chris Carter wrote this one?”

I haven’t seen that many other episodes from this season, so I’m not sure what to expect — but the presence of ‘X-Cops’ in this season makes me hope that the self-seriousness doesn’t last long!
