I also think this ep wasted a lot of opportunities but I guess we are second guessing ourselves… I mean that was like.. What? 20 years ago? X files was already introducing a lot of changes so maybe TV was not ready yet. Of course if that were to happen today everybody would scream MURDER! And whine all over the internet and every social site that they left half a dozen stories hanging… And even threaten the writers :-S (hate that!)
I laughed a lot about the “That is the most attractive man I’ve ever seen!” “Are you blind I’m right here” Mainly because I used to have such a crush on Mr. Duchovny LOL!

The fact that nobody ever speaks of the sex-swapping crop-circle Amish aliens again is pretty good proof that The X-Files never intended to tie up its loose ends. It would have taken minimal effort to make the Mighty Morphin’ Bounty Hunter related to them, but nobody bothered, because why bother?

It weirded me out when I saw the rerun of this one and recognized Krycek. I pondered the possible conspiracies for weeks before I realized it was possible that Nicholas Lea Might have just been cast in a bit part long before Krycek’s character was ever concieved
