*note to self* Rewatch this episode!…it’s been far too long. Good stuff in this one!

I hate to say it but I can’t think of my “irrational-love” episode. Might end up doing some late night pondering on that one seeing how I have so many favorites.

In reply to d. morris. Part of the creepy factor that went up for me after reading the cast on Wikipedia was who played the teacher. The scene where we meet her, and then the cut up magazine are jokes I missed as a teenager, and took the magazine to just be another jib of Scully at Mulder's vices.

I imagine most of the X-Files obsessives out there have read the Guardian’s list of must-see X-Files episodes? http://www.guardian.co.uk/culture/2013/jul/18/san-diego-comic-con-x-files Admittedly any such list that leaves out any mention of Darin Morgan is fundamentally flawed, but that, and the weird inclusion of “Ghost in the Machine”, aside, it seems like a pretty solid list (though it includes a couple of episodes I haven’t seen yet).
