This episode comes up a lot as a contender for Worst Episode Ever, but it’s more boring than anything else. Angry dogs are scary in real life, but in movies and TV shows they always look like good boys and[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…

It should be illegal to draw cartoon garbage and not include at least one (1) chicken bone and one (1) fish skeleton with the head on. Same goes for cartoon vomit.
Any time I do anything inspired by Choose Your Own Adventure books, I owe a debt to the books themselves and to Jason Shiga, master of interactive comics. Also in this episode, Mulder breaks the waterbed he got in the[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
This is a scary, atmospheric episode, but it also manages to use the phrase “all the nuts roll south to Florida” about 28 times.

So far the main themes of this season are a) quirkiness and b) the unfathomable hotness of Mulder and Scully and how bananas it is that they’re not banging. This is the horniest the X-Files gets.
You go in thinking the best part of this episode is going to be Bruce Campbell, and actually it’s the Garbage song they keep playing. Bruce Campbell’s character belongs to a line of comical sad-sack sex offenders that includes Eddie[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
