This is becoming rapidly more obvious as I draw these strips, but it would be so easy to convert The X-Files into an awesome sitcom. This would be the episode where a special guest star plays Mulder’s crazy buddy and Scully has to let him crash on her couch.

But the next three don’t love him as much.
Don’t remember Scully’s night-wear from this episode… I wish I did so I could compare your take on it.
Netflix FTW
Having just gone through this whole series, I am in love with these and please keep doing them so I can be happy
PS I don’t know why my gravatar is a 5 year old picture of my kid, but…. Anyway, keep it up etc
Most excellent — loving this strip!
this is the best thing on the internet.
Agreed.
That… is sooooooo coooool hihihihihi
I’m soooooo loving this! I can’t wait for your take on some of my favorite episodes! Great job!
Love it thank you for sharing with us!
Oh man, Scully bed head. Yes.
The mean army guy has a sort of Mel Gibson quality to him.
One of the things that I always enjoy when it shows up in a movie or TV show is when a cop or detective or whoever has a boss who is just over the top outraged by whatever the cop does. John C. McGinley in Point Break is kind of a high-water mark for that sort of thing, but the guy who leads the inquiry in this episode is also pretty good at summoning the rage of a million angry hornets when he interrogates Mulder and Scully.
Mean Army Guy delivers a top-shelf death glare in the scene where he marches past them in the hospital.
Ah. I see what you did there in the last panel. FORESHADOWING!
Love the kissy marks on the surveillance poster!
